ABi Okell

Abi is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist specialising in female athlete health.

She has worked in elite sport since 2012, primarily with GB Snowsport. This included Ski and Snowboard, Olympic and Paralympic athletes. During this time she introduced a female athlete health curriculum to GB Snowsport, which she delivered to all staff and athletes across all ski and snowboard disciplines.

Abi also worked with British Gymnastics and GB Taekwondo before entering the world of rugby in July 2025.

Abi is now the Lead Physiotherapist for Sale Sharks Women in the PWR where she combines her expertise in female athlete health and physiotherapy, with a passion for supporting athletes to perform at their best.
