Sale Sharks Women
Performance nutritionist (SENR)

  • I am a registered sports nutritionist, research assistant, and public health nutritionist with a diverse background supporting athletes across a range of sporting environments. My experience spans youth, adolescent, and senior athletes, both male and female, with a particular passion for working with women in sport. In my public health work, I support NHS staff with complex physical and mental health conditions / neurodiversity to live a life they value through nutrition as part of a psychology led team of healthcare professionals.

I have delivered performance nutrition support in professional and development settings, including roles with Castleford Tigers Academy and Scholarship, Leeds Rhinos Women Rugby League, Sale Sharks Women Rugby Union (present), DiSE Rugby League, Hockey, Athletics and British Lacrosse, where I currently work as Head of Nutrition. I have also worked in multi-sport environments with Isle of Man Sport, helping young athletes across disciplines optimise their performance and recovery through practical, evidence-based strategies.

My passion lies in empowering female athletes to fuel with purpose - not just for performance, but for long-term health, confidence, and valuing what their bodies are capable of. I take a nurturing, person-centred approach to nutrition, helping athletes develop practical habits while navigating the demands of sport, work, and life. I am particularly driven to create inclusive environments that challenge outdated norms around body image and energy intake in female sport. I am committed to translating science into problem solving support that makes a meaningful impact on and off the field. I’m super excited to bring five years of hands-on experience in women’s rugby nutrition into supporting players at every level through the Women’s Rugby Roadmap!
