Charlie Beckett

With 12 years professional playing experience alongside 9 years of coaching, Charlie has spent his entire adult life in rugby!

As a player he played across the Premiership and Championship in England as well as in Australia in the Sydney Shute Shield. Alongside his playing career he coached for seven years with the majority of that being at Cheltenham Tigers being on the coaching staff of two of their national championship winning teams.

Since retiring from playing he has coached solely in The PWR, firstly as defence and forwards coach at Loughborough Lightning and secondly as defence & U23s coach at Sale Sharks where he is working now.

Charlie has a huge passion for all things rugby but especially forwards play, defence and player development and is desperate to see the women’s game continue to go from strength to strength.
