Some players can’t imagine playing without one whilst others couldn’t think of anything worse. A scrum cap is by no means essential, but it’s worth considering if wearing one is right for you.
As the name suggests, they can be really useful if you’re involved in scrums - helping to prevent getting cauliflower ears.
